A Cigar Deal I Just Couldn't Pass Up, They're Here, Unboxing Video Post#46

I haven't smoked in years but when I did my go-to was the AF 8-5-8's.
With all the talk about good cigars how about the flip side?
The absolute worst has to be the Parodi's.
They're hard as a rock, dry as desert sand, taste like feces, and smell like a stack of burning tires. As kids we'd light em up as they were about a quarter for a pack two and pretty much all we could afford. We thought we looked cool. Like Clint Eastwood.
I used to smoke Swisher Sweets and I didn't know any better 'til I had a long filler premium cigar.
I think it was an Arturo Fuente Hemingway Short Story. Now that's a good cigar!
The only hand rolled cigar I'd rather not have is one with a Connecticut wrapper. It gives the smoke a bit of a sour flavor to me.
Other than that, doesn't matter to me if it's long filler, mixed filler or chopped filler, I don't really have a cigar I actively dislike.

You're right Wayne, I DO have a wonderful woman. It occurs to me that some of us in here over married. ;)

That's true but--can she make a Monte Cristo? :D I cant, I tried but tastes nothing like the one from Cheddars-or even from Bennegan's-when they were open.

Shoot I been makin' those for over 50 years. Never knew the name of them. I always just called 'em a fried ham and cheese sammich. Made 'em on just about every kind of slice bread out there. No matter how I fixed 'em they always seemed to come out good. But maybe not as purty as the ones in the pics above though.

I think its the choice meats and cheeses they use? I don't know what brand or where they get them from? or mine'd be jest as good. :D
