Should be a great game tonight. I'm of course rooting for the Cardinals to kick butt and take names!

But I will be faced with a difficult choice:

If it's a night game, I vote Manhattan. It's a more serious, sofisticated cocktail for an evening occasion, even if it's just you in your living room... ;)

I don't have a dog in the game-fight, but I say Cardinals will prevail, they look real good this year.

Posted too soon. Watching the Dolphin at Eagles.
Took the B/P med earlier, was contemplating Pepto or Alka Seltzer.
The Fins made up my mind with the kick return followed by safety.

A Preparation H eyewash.

'Tis a difficult choice...I'll take a Beam on ice with a splash, maybe two????? Make that a double!!;)

Seattle by 3 but it will be a good game and I do like those Red Birds. If Seattle can't go to the dance, then the Red Birds should be there to represent the NFC West!:D

This is a matter of complete indifference to me. The important thing is, the Vikings won on the road and now have sole possession of first place in the NFC North, at least until they meet the Packers next week.

AP had a fine game, something like 200 yards. Eighty of that was signature AP, a single breakaway touchdown on the first play from scrimmage following an interception in the end zone. The rest were all tough, bruising yards. And he held onto the ball all afternoon; didn't drop it once. He earned his pay check this afternoon.

My general rule is any team but Seattle's. Putting up with their obnoxious fans here in the 'burg is part of it; putting up with Seattle/Seattle-ites in general is the rest of it. It is very rare that I go to the bad side of MP 52 unless it is for work.

I'm with Pete, rooting for the home team (though it ain't looking good right now).

BTW buddy, looks like it will be my turn to buy this year!

That was hard to watch. Seattle was outplayed and out coached.

Greed has made them a one dimensional team. Awesome defense but no offense. Everyone just had to get paid and key players were lost due to the salary cap.

Offensive line stinks. Richard Sherman ain't as good as he thinks he is and the loss of Byron Maxwell really hurts.

Have to agree with Snubby. If not Seattle, go Cards!

I feel vindicated! The Cards nearly blanked the Seabirds in the first half. In the second half, the Seabirds capitalized on two fumbles near the Cards' end zone, and it looked grim when they pulled ahead.

But in the end, character mattered. The Redbirds never lost their cool, and BA called some excellent plays that finally pulled the plug on Seattle in their own burg. Not only the score, but the final statistics showed their class, achieved in spite of the disabling injury of one of our key offensive linemen.

I'm proud of my home team! GO CARDS!

P.S. I chose one of my patented Manhattans to enjoy with the game...

Giving the fact that the Seahawks has whopped my boy's--49's so many times, go Arizona. The get your backend handed to you on home turf---ouch.
Great game for sure. My language was in to form-again.

Thank you,

Henry

Well I had three Beam's on ice and it didn't help Seattle's cause at all!!!

The Card's opened a can on the Hawks - nice win for them.

This is bad for the morale here in the dark, wet, cold weather. There is no sunshine in the forecast for a week.

I'll have one of those margaritas now. Make that two.

The can was wide open--there may have been more than one.
What I do know is the Seahawks are a very strong team, and even though I don't want them to win, you cant deny the fact they rock. Super Bowl Champions-etc....this team is just getting warmed up.
Denver---well----ouch also.

Thank you,

Henry
