My daughter came home from school one day recently an said "Dad, you have to see this movie". I said yeah yeah OK. She persisted and I finally ordered it from the big auction site.
The movie is "Hachi: A Dog's Tale", starring Richard Gere. Based on a true story.
It came out a few years ago but somehow slipped by without my seeing it. Many of you may have seen it already.
I know there are plenty of dog or furry friend people on this forum and thought I'd pass this along because I'm glad my daughter insisted.

Hachi: A Dog's Tale

The good thing about Dog's is this...no matter the location or language,,,,they always bond with people and are devoted to their owner. And also true is that people that bond in the same way with their pets,,,regardless of location,,,are for sure solid and good people.
You can judge a lot from how people take care of animals.

Thank you,

THE MORE PEOPLE I MEET, THE MORE I APPRECIATE DOGS.

HACHI was real, it took place in Japan "around WWll" I believe and there is a statue of him. Just slap me & call me Sally. A BIG WUSS when it comes to dogs in movies/shows/commercials/ vets & military dog reunions. If depictions of abuse or death, break out the tissues. A dogs life/purpose movie was good/book was better. Still grieving for my sibling Brittany's since last August. Less grieving for family/friends, Is that wrong?

I'm the same way, and the bitter irony is their short life span.

This one was pretty good too.
