We are fortunate to have a giant (400,000 volumes) used book store here in town, so I thought I'd stop by on my way home from breakfast. I always make a casual check of the guns and hunting shelf just to see whats there. Today I got lucky!

Found an autographed copy of Roy Jinks "History of Smith and Wesson" for $5. Needless to say it followed me home.

Made my day!!

Is that Larry McMurtry's book shop in Archer City? Have wanted to get there for a long time, never seem to make it.

Got Jim Corbett's , "Man-Eaters of Kumaon" at a used shop for $1.99. They have no clue as to what are important gun and hunting books.

But that means they also pay you little for one.

About 6 months ago in a thrift store.

Purchased "A History of The Colt Revolver" in Hard Cover in mint condition for $5.00, new I think they sell for around $60-$70.

I love book stores and book sales, I took home a Jeff Cooper book on handguns last time for $1.00.
