This 44 Magnum was Class A-engraved by Virginia Le Blanc and shipped on October 31, 1956. It is the first 44 Magnum with a nickel finish to be engraved and only one of two known. Click on the photo for a better look.

I'm not at all familiar with engraving, so a maybe a dumb question. Is the engraving on an already nickel plated gun, or is it nickel finished after the engraving is completed?

Seeing that gun is one of my favorite Halloween treats. :D I believe you had that one at the Symposium this last summer, but it was wearing a set of KB's finest custom grips?

... just found a not so great photo of it...

It was even more beautiful in person. A strong reason to join the SWCA and attend the Symposiums.

Trick or Treat.

I was a bit busy moving snow for the ghouls and goblins last night
so I missed it. It's a handsome creature, for sure.

I agree with Richard--better in person. Perhaps a treat to lure in
members for future symposia?

Thanks for sharing it, again.
