A little confused about this optics ready model number

Few things guys, I bought an M&P 2.0 4 in 9mm about 6 months ago and I do like it however now I'm looking into getting into the optic world for handguns. It will be a carry weapon, currently still carrying my Glock 23 as I really don't like my safariland 7387 ALS holster I bought for the M&P, Is it worth selling the M&PI already have for the optics ready? I was also debating between the M&P 2.0 optics ready 9mm V's the Glock 19 gen 5 MOS, I just might have to get them

Here is where I'm confused though as I was searching and came SKU: 12659 as seen below

It states it's for law enforcement only but I found it on a website and on gunbroker by the same seller for a good price and it states nothing in the ad that it's for law enforcement only. I like it because it also has tritium night sights. I tried reaching out to the seller but it says they will return emails in about 4-5 days and they are not taking calls. I'm also afraid they might have the wrong sku listed in the ad and maybe in fact it is model 13143

I called smith and Wesson and asked if a civilian can purchase model 12659 and they said no and explained that the situation with the listing making no mention of law enforcement only and asked what they think would happen and the lady said she thinks once it gets to the FFL it will show that it is for law enforcement only and the transfer wound be completed. She also said it had some different "parts" not too familiar with what's different on that and the 13143 aside from the tritium night sights

I know I'm all over the place but I also found one that comes with a crimson trace red dot for 600 and free shipping so just tax and FFL transfer. I do plan to run a holosun 508t though. Anyone familiar with the crimson trace one? Thanks and sorry typed this up real quick as I'm leaving work

I have a 4" 2.0 4" compact always with tall sights and is optic read with a thumb safety. MIne is a sku: 13144
There is also a no thumb safety model. Both are shown in the link below. I bought mine from a local general store gun shop for $540 about 3 months ago. I added a Holosun 507C-GR x2 and use the 32moa green circle for general defensive drills out to 25 yards as the circle only covers 8" at that distance good for A zone heart lung and head shots on full size target.

I wanted the thumb safety model as I use to shooting and still carry a 1911 for now and I have had hand surgery and still have endurance & function issues. I added a Apex Tactical FST kit is added to my m&p's for CC . Many LE model can be purchased but might depend on the lgs .

I have a 4" 2.0 as well with an Apex Flatty installed. I would like to see if S&W would sell me an optics ready slide only, that way I could switch back and forth.

That is a good question, I was wondering the same thing

Here is the listing to the model number that S&W has listed as Lr only but no mention of it on shooting surplus website, I honestly think they don't even have the model number right and they don't take calls or answer emails. I searched them on Google for their reviews and they are mixed but there were people stating they never received order or what not. I'm afraid I order it and it will be shipped out as 13143 model
