I watched this with a grain of salt, but I think there's some real value in this doc about the Green Movement and what it's costing. For me it was an eye opener, maybe in this quiet period, some of you might watch it and comment.

Planet of the Humans on Youtube.

There's talk that it's trying to be suppressed.

Years ago my girlfriend and I were having dinner at a very nice restaurant in LA. Michael Moore and someone else were at a table next to us. For the guys here who played football, do you remember how the locker room smelled? Well, Mr. Moore smelled even worse. I'm surprised they even let him in. I guess personal hygiene is not important to some people.

I love the scene in Team America where they show him protesting in front of the Team America HQ. He has a hot dog in each hand with mustard slopped all over his face and shirt. Pretty much sums him up in my opinion, but I will try to watch it. I think it is important to view all sides of an issue. Extremism is bad regardless of what the issue is. Don't confuse passion and extremism either. Passion is a strong belief, extremism is absolute. The end justifies the means, radical and fanatic come to mind.

I watched based on your post. A little slow, but interesting. I suspect some people, without watching it, will give you a hard time about it because of the Michael Moore connection (he’s not in it).

Definitely an overpopulation/tree hugger slant, but it’s a pretty damming condemnation of the Sierra Club, Michael Bloomberg, and Al Gore for being greedy hypocrites and frauds.

I'm not surprised. I've always thought that he appeared as though he would stink. He always looks sweaty and dirty, and his hair looks greasy and unwashed. I realize that any of us *may* be out looking a bit disheveled at one time or another, but...if you're in the public eye, I would think you could at least look as though you'd showered at some point in the last several days! 🤪

Michael Moore's so called documentary's are nothing more than propaganda. They are a combination of emotion driven so called "facts" that have no scientific proof backing them, nor does he offer any.
Moore is a fat slob with severe mental problems and is a hypocrite as are most of his ilk.
He is from Michigan and has a huge house on Torch Lake. His house is easy to find as the great environmentalist has every light blazing all night long every night.
A true poster child for the left.

I'll not give anything of his 30 seconds of my time.
After the trumped up left-wing hit pieces he's done I have zero interest in anything he has to say - even if he's not actually on camera saying it.
The guy is a morally bankrupt left-wing-nut. I wouldn't give anything of his the benefit of another "hit" on a website, much less rent a copy or pay admission to see it. Not gonna put one red cent in his pockets.

That must have made for an exquisite dining experience.:eek:

When the most strident leftist opposition comes out in a very public way and says “wind power is a fraud,” “solar energy is a fraud,” “biomass fuel is a fraud,” “energy efficient electric cars are a fraud” and says we’d be better off sticking with natural gas for power production, it’s good to know. Situational awareness.

Michael Moore vidoe Short version

This URL is from Sky News in OZ.

Pretty good overview and a short clip from the movie.

I started to watch the complete and have it on pause. Will work my way through it.

In the interim

I am not sure yet if I will watch Mr Moore's new movie, as I have found most of his previous movies to be rather one sided. However, I will give him credit for his first major movie, where he went after Roger Smith and the rest of GM brass for their mismanagement back in the 1980s. Those people soiled GM and closed many factories in the United States.

GM was the standard of the world when designers and engineers ran the show - Harley Earl, Bill Mitchell, Pete Estes, Ed Cole, and John Delorean. Then came Roger Smith and his bean counters, followed by body cladding and government bailouts!

Michael Moore is calling others greedy hypocries a and frauds,? That is rich.

Times are hard.
Big problems coast to coast.
And you want me to watch one of his videos?
Things are not that bad!
Not even close!

IIRC he got a bit of heat from "his people." Those sort will turn on you if you disagree with .001% of their narrative. He is still their god though.

Finally got through the whole thing and it confirmed what I've known for years. The environmental movement is just a big scam to keep the sheeple occupied with "doing something" while really making rent seekers rich off solar and wind farms and biomass plants.

I recall Warren Buffet saying years ago about some Green energy project Berkshire Hathaway was investing in wouldn't be worth it but for the tax advantages. But for the distortion in the market due to government grants and tax rebates there would be no solar projects, wind farms, biomass plants or corn ethanol.

The "green energy" business is purely a creature of lobbying and government intervention. Greenpeace, 350.org etc are in on the scam-they rouse the hoi polloi to demand these project, the government provides the tax breaks, the investors get rich and slide some of that largesse back to the environmental groups.

Here's a visual aid that shows energy returned (what you get back) over energy invested (what you had to supply to build the plant, mine the materials etc). "Buffered" includes what you need to make the power flow 24/7.

Take a good long look.
