I remember when Sid Bell advertised these in the late 1970's, always wanted one and finally in the right place at the right time. It's a Tin Can with Bullet Holes - the go to plinking target.

Sid Bell, the Alaskan Silversmith, made some fantastically lifelike creations. The detail in his creations was amazing. I have one other Sid Bell creation, a Haida Bear Mask pendant I use ad a zipper pull.

In Cowboy Action Shooting, there is lots of lead splatter flying around. They adjust the angle on the steel plates, and even block off some areas, but things happen, and you get will hit! One club I shot with, takes bullets that are fired and still close to whole, then soldiers a tie tac stud on the back. They then epoxy paint the entire thing purple. This is the awarded medal for "The Order of the Purple Bullet" which is awarded to anyone that bled while working the firing line!

Not as fancy, but still a good conversation starter.
