Thought this might be fun.... (surely you can spot the sheep...)

However I've been told that if you ever start making geometric designs with your guns, it may be time to consider getting professional help....;):D

Top left doesn't have a square above the grip. Indent above trigger is smaller and shallow. Looks too perfect. That the fake?
 
The lack of a square above the grip and the different trigger are correct for a Model 712.......

Not an airsoft.

You were closer on your first guess......:D

The "lower right" is a real poser. It is a legit C96 Pre-War Commercial, BUT, it is a complete re-build by the Belgians. The barrel has been re-sleeved (still 30 cal), the rear sight tangent reshaped and all the German proofs removed and replaced by Belgian proofs. I haven't fired it yet, but I imagine the taller front sight was an attempt to get it "on-target" at 25 yards or so.

Bingo! Give the man a cigar!!

That thing is a real hoot to shoot... The switch is fully functional, either single or full auto. The bolt actually cycles and even gives a little recoil.
The biggest PITA is reloading the 18 or so BB's that it holds. They have to be inserted one at a time in the magazine and it takes about 2 seconds to empty it on FA. The gun is all metal and the weight is close to the real thing.
 
I have one of those CO2 Mauser 712 copies, and it's a real hoot to shoot. Mine is at the gunsmith right now, getting an old attaching iron for a shoulerstock/holster fitted to the groove in the pistol which doesn't quite meet Mauser specs. The giveaway is the flimsy lanyard ring on the CO2 pistol. That pistol modified in Belgium is really interesting; I've never heard of one of those.

Nothing wrong with geometric symmetry, now and f you had flipped two of them, it would look like a swatztika, then you'd have me wondering.

Nice grouping of guns, they look like fun.
 
I had a thought about that Belgian modified Mauser. The sights on the Mauser are regulated for use with the stock. When fired from the hand the flip is a lot greater and they shoot high; about 18 inches high at 25 yards. Perhaps the Belgians didn't intend to use them with the stock and adjusted the front sight so they'd shoot point of aim when hand held.

I didn't know that but it makes a lot of sense. (or maybe, like me, the owner didn't have a stock.:o)

Hopefully I will get this one to the range soon and see just where it shoots.....
