A unemployed Master Chief walks into

I would so love to have a find like that. Yep you practically stole it for that price.
There is a pawn shop near me and they try to sell almost junk old Colt and Smith revolvers for around $700.

Master Chief, I'm impressed. I'm not sure how you'll explain that to CID or the Shore Patrol but well done, Shipmate!

Sidebar - since someone mentioned this kind of event - - I misplaced a gun in my house that I still can't find, a junky little Kel-Tec P9, and I live in a very little house!!!! It can happen!

I reported it stolen just in case; the police said I did the right thing and if I find it let them know.

Oh, and for the record, Master Chief, I took it out of my car so i could go to the navy base for a retirement. Next time I thought of it the gun was not in my car and I couldn't remember where i put it. many searches -= NADA ZILCH sooooo annoying!

I work with TWO retired Master Chiefs, one USN and one USCG. ALL you guys rock. Nice catch on the 10-5. Such a deal you got! My very first S&W was a 2" Nickel 10-5. ($84.50 in 1970.) I still have it.

And what year was this purchase?

10 - 15 years ago would be about right. Just looked current MSRP of $739...

Seein as how you're unemployed at the moment it would be my pleasure to help out and offer you a handsome profit on your find. How does $300 sound?
Just kidding, nice find.
