A2 Buttstock

Anyone put an A2 Buttstock on their 15-22 yet? Can it be done? I don't like a collapsible stock.

im gonna try soon--but im custom bulding it and gonna attempt a triangular handgaurd too---i love the look of the vietnam era m16

Triangular hand guard is the easy part. Hard part is the A2 stock, that's gonna take some work! I would see if the stock could be modified, rather than the receiver.

It can be done. There is a certain brand that will work over the collapsable receiver extension, I can't recall it's name though. None of the others will work because the shape of the extension is wrong.

im planning on a diy handmade stock so no mods its gonna be built to fit the rifle and i even designed a slide stock into the configuration ,like i said it has to be custom built around my mp15-22-

man, you can't throw out information like that and not follow up on it.

i would definitely be interested in doing a mod like that. go for the A2 look, albeit with a shorter barrel.

Vltor - Rifle Modstock

Not quite what I was thinking of, but it seems to be the only one I can find off hand. It will mount on a collapsible stock tube.

Mostly that isn't needed because you can simply unscrew it and put in a new one that is the correct shape.

This one will not look like an original fixed stock though. Apologies.

I really like the look and feel of the ACE skelton stock.I have long arms and feel cramped even with the stock extended out.I am in the process of making my own skeleton stock that works with the stock "buffer tube".Just need to get my parts welded together and hopefully it will work.Should give me about an extra 1/2"-3/4" and the add the recoil pad for another 1/2". We will see.
