Extremely cool. I've read and heard about this Airman a lot in study material and in lectures at ALS and other places in the Air Force.

The AC-47 is awesome. 18,000 rounds per minute of 7.62x51mm and able to loiter all afternoon/night above the target zone with a standard combat load of 24,000 rounds onboard.

You do the math. One LETHAL plane.

I never got to see the AC-47 in action. We had AC-119s at Phan Rang and they were awesome in action.
