Adapter?

I won a BSA 30mm red dot in a raffle. On the mount it says 3/8 - 5/8. I would like to try this on my 15-22 & possibly on my DPMS AR15 . Can anyone advise me what mounts or adapters I would need & best place to purchase? I did search the forum for these answers before posting & didn't see anything. I sure would appreciate an answer as I'm wanting to get these ready for spring. T. I. A.!!!!

If you need a riser, you can get inexpensive ones on Amazon. I prefer the quick detach kind myself..
