I know this is old, but I was starting to feel like the Lone Ranger out here. I bought a "used" S&W, EZ in 30 Super Carry a few weeks ago. It was in like new condition, and sold for less than half what a NIB one was tagged at.
I'm up to 150 rounds through it and really like it. The ammo has been fairly cheap around here recently, mostly I suppose because no one buys it and they're dumping it. I've been paying 15-20 bucks a box of 50 range ammo...Federal American Eagle, and Remington UMC, so I've sort of layed in a small stash. I've got some Remington SD ammo due in today.
The EZ probably isn't the best platform for it. It only offeres a two round advantage over a 9mm or a 380 IIRC, and it is a fairly big gun, but it does shoot well. I had thought the round might be great in a BG-2 size gun, but the pressure/recoil would probably say ....naw....You don't want to do that.
I hope it picks up or at least they keep making ammo for it. If not, it won't be the first paperweight I've bought. Maybe I'll get some brass and dies just in case. No, I'm too lazy to chase brass anymore. I'll stick to reloading for revolvers.
