The "M-4" instructions is the same as the AR15. If your M&P15 is new to you then you'll want "2 Point Sling Instructions on M-4". If you want use the one point variant, then you will need to remove the buffer tube/assembly and add another connection point.

Yes, the gun is brand new to me. So then I want the "2 Point Sling Instructions on M-4"? I guess what is the difference if the gun is new or not? Thanks for the help!!

Ok, where is the "front sling mount?" I see no where on the front to mount this.

You need to install a front sling mount, or, depending on which model you have, get a quick release to go in the supplied QD mount, such as what is on the OR model.

if your OP looks like this at the front of the handguard and the railed gas block....you will need to add an attachment point.

you have many options either bolt on or will have to some type of drilling on the handguard.

I would avoid an attachment on the gas block if it is only held/secured by the tiny set screws.

for simplicity on your front mount....I would strongly consider this if your have standard looking hand guards

and use your top attachment point on your rear or stock which is on the image "2 Point Sling Instructions on M-4" from the instructions you attached.

advance to time frame 2:05 for this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCmXrNXZpX8
