After years of trying every razor, I finally find the best ever for shaving my head !

Shoo razors

I went to the local Dollar Tree last night and picked up three packs of Shoo razors. I figured that if any of the wimmens comes to visit me I need to be prepared to do trim work!!!!:D

Shave like a real man!!!

You bunch of pansies with your girlie-man disposables! You make me sick!!

I am sure that Horace Smith and Daniel B. Wesson NEVER shaved with a disposable. Sheesh!

Thanks red!

That Puma Special cost something like $125 and that was at least 25 years ago! Still sharp? You betcha!

If you spend $1 a month on razors, in 25 years you will have spent $300! Now who got the better deal?

Scott, that razor brings back memories. My Uncle in Miami Fl used one like that. Got a couple whuppins with his strap. Man it hurt. Sure miss him though. Thanks for the memories. Good times.

My pleasure red!

I recently became a member of a straight razor forum. Wow! And you thought gun forums had their own special lingo and folks with obsessions about firearms.

You ain't seen nothin' yet! And just like we look for range reports when someone buys a new gun, they have threads where guys (and gals!) post messages after their first shave with a straight razor! They can really put us to shame!

Why do the guys with hair want to shave their noggins clean, while those with out hair (or in full retreat) are trying to save theirs?

I started shaving my head on a dare about 4 years ago. I grow it out in the winter. I tried the SuperMax razors and love them. That has been my biggest gripe on razors, they get clogged.

I have been shaving my head for about 14 years now. The things I have learned are:

Never nick an ear, if you do, you run the risk of bleeding to death.
Just because a razor cost more doesn't mean it's better.
NEVER and I mean NEVER use a electric on your head (results in ingrow hairs).

My best method is: Shave in the shower it softens the hair.
Razor: Schick Xetreme3 ComfortPlus (disposable) is the best I've found.
Shaving cream (and its all about the shaving cream): sinkintimate, yes it a womens shaving cream but the lotions in it are important for the scalp.
Then apply sun block.

I prefer to shave in the evening.but often do it in the am.
