Aftermarket pistol grips on the M&P15-22?

I agree. I have driven 4X4 pickups all my life. (Dedicated Tundra owner since 2000) Anyway.... I shake my head when I see a perfectly good pickup truck lowered and with 45 series low profile tires. So.... I understand when folks talk about outfitting the 15-22 with 'junk'. But..... I just can't help myself ;)

or on the flipside when they spend a load on lift kits and 44's lights etc... and it never sees a mud pit or even a dirt road

The Miad has 3 sizes on the back strap s,m,l i have big hands so the large works for me, the gap is noticable on the large but the medium fits tighter i'll try to get a close up for you.

do you have the small strap? I wonder how that looks. I have small hands so I'm probably going to be using that

There is no gap with the small strap. However, there is still the problem of the takedown pin detent spring. It's pretty easy to fix by filling in the space with a little five minute epoxy.

just take a allen wrench and loosen the screw in the handle, i didn't know it was a aleen head at first took a large phillips srewdriver and done mine

Yeah, just use a long shaft screwdriver or allen wrench. Becareful not to lose the two little springs that will come loose with the grip.

Good point Beck when i first took mine off i could see the spring for the selecter but didn't see the one for the takedown pin (good thing it fell in my lap)
