Age of a model 36 no dash?

The Standard Catalog of Smith and Wesson is a little vague with J frame serials in the sixties, but my best guess would be probably born in 1968. Maybe someone else can pin it down more exactly.
 
Thank you, Park. The guy is a little high on it, as it shows some honest holster wear and has crummy after market rubber grips, but I'll let my offer sit with him a bit. I was guessing 70s, so I suppose I wasn't too far off. Thanks again.

You're welcome. It could be '69 as well. Like I said, the book is a bit vague around that time.

1962 = starts at 295000
1969 = ends at 786544

J serial Prefix serial numbers.
For models 36, 37, 38, 49, 50.
