I'm always on a quest for better grips for my revolvers and have never found ones that I've unconditionally liked on my round butt 10-10. I've switched all my square butt wooden grips to Ahrends "Retro Target" grips but never found any that felt j-u-s-t right for a round butt. Well, my wait is over! I picked up a set of the fairly new "Retro Banana" model grips in cocobolo and they are sublime. They fit my smallish hand perfectly with the open backstrap, and the finish has the perfect combination of slipperiness (so that they're not too "snaggy" when you first grip them) and grippiness (so when you tighten down they don't squirrel around). Oh, and they look great, too! They taper side-to-side at the bottom to minimize their profile for concealed carry (well, in theory at least around here
). I really like them--my long search is over!
