Just bought a new M&P10. Want to put a red dot on it. Considered Ultradots new "Ultradot 6" but can't find and reviews of it on a 308.
That leaves me with the two Aimpoints. My only concern with the PRO is if the single point mount is secure enough for the recoil of a 308.
What are you guys running and anybody tried either of the Aimpoints?

Thanks,
Jim

The Aimpoint is bomb-proof- and in the case to the T1 Micro, quite literally as Larry Vickers discovered during his torture test of the Daniel Defense carbine. Before putting a Nightforce on my M&P-10, I used an Aimpoint H1 Micro which is nearly identical to the T1 but lacks the special lens coating to protect night vision gear from the light of the sight's dot

Either the Micro or the Pro will more than stand up to the recoil of the 308. Other brands of RDS just don't even come close the Aimpoint in performance, ruggedness and battery life
