I would love for S&W to come out with a 2" model 12 even if it had the lock (easy fix) and MIM parts granted I would prefer not to have those.

Am I the only one?

I have a 4 inch M12-3. Wouldnt mind having a light weight 2 inch 6 shot to go with it.

I'd rather not be a wet blanket on a useful forum, but Model 12 revolvers, while a little hard to find, are STILL cheaper than most new S&W revolvers. You want one, just buy one - when it shows up.

Yeah, but I feel bad taking one and tuning it for carry (like replacing the front sight.) on an older one. You do make a valid point though.
