Alamo Bowl

Those who didn't watch TCU beat Oregon at the Alamo Bowl tonight missed what was probably one of the best football games ever played. TCU erased a deficit of 31 points at halftime to win 47-41 in triple overtime. This without TCU's star starting QB who got into a ruckus on the Riverwalk with the San Antonio cops before the game. How stupid can one person be.

Seems many of the bowl games thus far this year have been blowouts, but boy, tonight's game was a doozie! That was an awesome game!

At half time I started channel surfing for reruns of the Lawrence Welk Show. Darn glad I went back. Like Rusty, my pacemaker experienced quite a bit of battery drain. Horn Frogs did Texas proud!!

I stopped watching it in the 2nd quarter when the score was 31-0, I looked back in the 4th quarter and the score was 31-28, game went into three overtimes.

Great game. WV also beat ASU in Arizona to make the Big 12 2-0 vs. the Pac 12.
