Helped a friend man a table.
Saw...a S&W M27-2 in the box with slightly used accessories and papers, 8 3/8 inch barrel and standard, plain magna grips, about a late 1970s gun...$1300.00. That's not a typo. It did not sell.
A 1966ish M27 (dash??). A bit of holster wear in the high points and it had been shot a fair amount. Still tight and properly functioning. List price was $695.00 I think. It sold but I do not know if it was for the listed priced or for less.
A M19-3 4 inch nickel that some dweeb had put some kind of red "stuff" in the lettering and S&W logo. Had all the target "T's" and the red ramp/white outline. Price was $675.00. It sold but I do not know how much.
LOTS of rusted and worn finished guns of all kinds; would have been a great place to buy trot-line anchors.
Almost no visitors were buying anything.
A table vendor next to us commented that back in his younger days he saved his money for months to come to the show and buy. I suspect the lack of "business" is due to the fact that a number of the "big-box" stores sell the modern firearms at reasonably good prices and the internet firearms availablility.
