I think I'm going to watch Kelly's Heroes this evening after dinner.

I'm gett'n a hankering for a BAR...not that I can afford a real one.

Watch the scene at the end where the German tank blows open the bank door and Kelly, Big Joe, Oddball and the German tank commander walk through it.

Then, out of nowhere, certainly not through the same door, the other guys come streaming into the room.

There must have been an unlocked screen door around back or something.

"Kelly's Heros" and "Two Mules for Sister Sara" were released one week apart in June 1970. My (then) future wife and I went to see them then and still have to watch them every time they come on TV.

I guess I am a member of a cult after all.

I liked Oddball, during the battle when his tank was broke. He was laid back in the sunshine as I recall and said, Hey man, I just drive 'em; I don't fix 'em"

I like when Oddball radios the German tank and say, I know vat your tinking...did I fiah seex rounds or onlee five...

And of course, we all love Clint and Don...
