SPF Model 15-2 SPF
Up for sale is the nicest example of a .38 Special Model 15-2 Combat Masterpiece I have ever seen. The revolver appears to be 100% NOS in the correct box numbered to the gun, although I do not have the original stocks. There is not a mark on it, and it gives no evidence of having been fired other than at the factory. The mechanics are 100%. No issues. I have owned some beautifully blued Smiths from this era, but this one has the deepest bluing I have ever seen.
This pristine, classic revolver came to me with cheesy fake mother of pearl grips that I have replaced with high polished black buffalo horn. The serial number, K535XXX, dates this gun to April, 1964.
SPF The price for this classic beauty has been reduced from $675.00 to only $500.00 shipped fully insured and delivered to your FFL. Please PM me with any questions, etc. SPF
SPF Model 29-2 SPF
This iconic 6-1/2 inch blued Model 29-2 was shipped in 1973 and is as dead mint as a revolver can be without the original box and tools. It is 99-1/2%+. No "handling marks," swirls, dings, or scratches. Just acres of deep, liquid blue and the beautiful, flawless Goncalo Alves stocks with which it left the factory 45 years ago.
SPF The revolver locks up like a bank vault and is mechanically perfect. With a target hammer and trigger, the serial number is N123XXX, and the price, shipped fully insured and delivered to your FFL, is $1,750. You can find 29-2s for less money; even with a box I seriously doubt that you can find one is this high condition. In these photos, the highlights on the edges, etc., are just that -- highlights. There are no signs of wear. SPF
SOLD Locally Pre-Model 27 SOLD Locally
This exquisite 3-1/2 inch nickeled pre-Model 27 dates to 1954 and is conservatively rated at 98-1/2%+. There is the faintest of turn lines on the cylinder and a few faint handling marks on the sideplate, which are impossible to see under virtually any lighting conditions except for a direct high-intensity beam. The flats are like glass smooth mirrors. The barrel, cylinder, ejector star, and grip frame all bear the same serial number, S104XXX. The stocks, while in perfect condition and period correct, number to another revolver. The gun is mechanically perfect.
SOLD Locally The price for this difficult to find five screw revolver is $3,250, shipped fully insured and delivered to your FFL. SOLD Locally
SPF Model 19-3 SPF
This 1976 production Model 19-3 is in 99+% condition with no flaws or defects. I purchased it without stocks from John Fugate and added a very nice set of high-quality Sambar stag grips. As with all the guns I sell here, this one, S/N 7K82XXX, is mechanically perfect and shows no evidence of having been fired since leaving the factory.
SPF The price is $850.00 shipped fully insured and delivered to your FFL. SPF
SPF Model 66 No Dash SPF
Somehow I ended up with three Model 66 No Dash snubbies, so to fund other projects, one of them needs to find a new home.
This one, S/N 6K61XXX, is in 99+% condition. I honestly cannot find a mark on it. The revolver is mechanically perfect, and comes with a set of custom no-bark Grashorns featuring a palm swell on the right-hand panel. Apart from looking great, they fit the hand well and provide substantial purchase.
I will also send along a new set of Uncle Mike's black rubber boot grips for those who prefer that look or feel.
SPF The price, including both sets of stocks and fully insured shipping and delivery to your FFL, is $950.00. Yes, you can spend less, but you won't find another one in this condition. SPF
All Federal, state, and local laws and regulations as well as shipper's tariffs and Forum rules apply. The first "I'll take it" followed by a PM gets the gun. More photos are available on request. Please feel free to PM me with any questions, etc. I assure your satisfaction with these superior revolvers.
