Aluminum Charge Handle Latch. Safe on Poly Receiver?

Has anyone had an issue with using the aluminum charge handle latches causing premature wear on the plastic nub on the upper receiver? I like the looks of the aluminum ones but worry about wearing that little nub off after awhile. Just curious before I order the NDZ version. Thanks

There's been no reported problems in the several months the aluminum charging handles have been in use. I have a NDZ handle on mine, as well as on both grandson's rifles.

No issues here, been using the NDZ latch for months.

If you look closely, the only wear is when the latch drags over the projection as the handle returns to the rest position. The amount of pressure exerted on that part is negligible, at best.

That's good to know! I guess if there was an issue, it wouldn't be too hard to install a steel/aluminum insert of some kind. I have a NDZ coming as well as a Tacticool22 charging handle. Can't wait!
