I installed a set of Ameriglo pro I dot sights on my Shield. After several range trips, and apps 500 rounds, I noticed the glo circle that surrounds the tritium insert was missing.
A bit of research, I see that others have had the same issue. I contacted Ameriglo, and they will be sending a new front sight asap. Currently the part I need is on back order, but was informed they will probably be able to ship later next week.
I really like the sight picture with these, I wondering if anyone here has had the same issue? Picture is with glo ring missing
Thanks

Thats a bummer. I have been considering getting these for my shield. This bit of info is not helping the plus side of these sights. However they seem to be making an effort to make things right so that is a plus.

I got the TFO's for my glock and while they are great. the three green dots makes quick focus on the center dot a bit more tricky esp. in very low to no light. For brighter ambient light I painted around the front green dot with an orange florescent paint that helps for faster sight acquisition. I also painted the stock front sight dot on the shield the same orange color.

I think I like the I-dot/figure 8 concept better than the 3 dot.

Love my Trijicon HD sights on my Shield and 45c. Toughest sights on the market IMHO!
