AMMO at Academy

Went up to San Antonio, yesterday, to the Academy on SE Military drive. They had a pretty good selection of both rifle and pistol ammo. Several cases of 223.

One guy was looking for 22. The salesman, customer and I all laughed. Salesman asked what was that?????

I went by that store in mid July while home on R&R and actually walked out without buying any!!

Down here on the Border I'd be less shocked to see the Pope surfing at the beach than seeing ammo at Academy. Wasteland since the "Incident".

The Academy stores and Bass Pro in north San Antonio get small shipments 2-3 times a week, but it is usually sold out within 15 minutes of being put out. They also limit you to 1 box of 22LR a day.
