Ammo bad round??

Reman ammo from 2A warehouse.
That's crazy. I've run thousands of reman 9mm, 45acp and 300blk from 2A Warehouse. They've been a go to for cheap ammo for the last 4-5 years for me. Glad to see they are willing to pick up the cost of any repairs and refund the ammo without even waiting for CZ to diagnose.

I am not familiar with 2A Warehouse remanufactured ammo but a bad round or even a bad lot is not uncommon, even from the main stream ammo makers. I have had plenty of ammo recalled over the years from both Remington and Winchester. I have also fired a few factory rounds that were double charged - thankfully they were fired in strong revolvers and there was no damage to the gun - just to my face and hands from the brass that sent shrapnel everywhere.

I have not used any remanufactured ammo in 40+ years except for my own reloads. I like to think my reloads are extremely high quality as I pay total attention to what I am doing while reloading. In the 40+ years of rolling hundreds of thousands of my own, I have only had only 2 squibs - totally my fault - but that's it. Actually less malfunctions than I have had with Factory! It is always important to be aware of how a round sounds and feels after the trigger is pulled - you never want a full power load to follow a squib load!!

BTW, the absolute worst remanufactured ammo I have ever used (only very briefly when first starting out 47 years ago) was a company called M&D reloading. Shooting their ammo was always "fun" - NOT! They are no longer in business - I wonder why. :p

Forgot to mention he checked the remaining ammo found some with dents in the brass.
So it kinds all makes sense, seems like the round was not seated fully.

He should take the rest of this ammo and try doing the plunk test before sending it back.
That way he knows for sure if it is ammo related, my guess it is.
