Here's a old ammo wallet or flip pouch that holds 18 rounds of your favorite cartridges.

Made by Flambeau, it's a different approach to carrying spare ammo than a speedloader or speed-strip.

I ran across it in an ammo can and had forgot about it, I wonder if this type of case is still made? A quick Ebay search didn't trun up any.

Kinda' cool, fits well in a pocket. It would be a slow reload, about like a dump pouch.

Have you ever seen one?

MTM has been making these for at least 30 years. Identical except for being brown.

Here's the MTM offering

Ammo wallets by MTM Case-Gard™ - Plastic ammunition storage and cartridge cases

They call it an Ammo Wallet. Looks like Boyt Harness also makes one

Boyt Harness Company

It's a wee bit more expensive since it's made of leather...

I carry a Boyt for my short mags and the MTM for everything else in my pack along with a few easily accessible cartridges in my pocket. I've done so for many years once I outgrew the Mexican Bandit look with the bandoleers. They are both great products.

I have a few of the MTM cases that I have had for at least 20 years. My favorite is the ones for the 22LR, I think it holds about 30 rounds.

I have 6, 12 & 18 rounders for 38-357 and 12 & 18 rounders for 44 ---- all made by MTM --- some are translucent in color.

At one time Cor Bon shipped 44 Mags in the MTM Ammo Wallets.

I have the exact same yellow Flambeau .38/.357 Pocket PacK as GF. I keep it in my hunting pack because it keeps the ammo clean, dry and quiet; great product!

I have an MTM for 9 mm but hadn't seen the .38/.357 style.

Neat! Now I'll be on a quest for one ...

ammo wallet

When I worked the field back in late ‘70s and early ‘80s I carried a Flambeau 50-round box in my briefcase, 2- Bianchi speed strips in my pockets, the two issue HKS speedloaders, and an MTM ammo wallet in my jacket pocket.

I wasn’t as afraid of being shot as I was of being detonated.

I have an MTM from the '70s, when I was carrying my stainless 4" Security Six. Got a 6 rounder (same vintage) floating around here somewhere.
