I ordered and received some 10 boxes of 9x21mm Fiocchi Pistol Shooting Dynamics Full Metal Jacket 123 Grain 1280 fps 50 Round Box that I intend to shoot in my 356 TSWs... As the add says FMJ I assume that is a copper jacket...
Well I have never seen these 2 things in the same bullet, it states on the box both "Copper Plated" and also "Full Metal Jacket"...
I always thought plated was like the .22 ammo lead with a copper plate, and full metal jacket a metal jacket (copper) with a lead core, you know like you make and swage rifle bullets to get match grade bullets...???
What do I not understand...???
Thanks and have a good one...XPman...

maybe its a copper plate with a full metal jacket over it? im confused as hell too. i use Fiocchi alot! and i mean A LOT. and i've never seen this either.

Probably, it means an Italian-speaker did the translations for the printing on the box. My guess -- it's FMJ ammo.

thats what i was thinking. I love Fiocchi. who doesnt love reliable ammo with a stainless jacket loaded with horniday bullets :-p

OK-Only thing I could figure was that since copper has a strong price now that maybe it is an aluminum jacket copper plated...lol...
Anyway here is a picture of the ammo box, a bit out of focus but good enough for Gvt. work...
I just didn't want to lead up the bore in my PC 356s, but the Vel. is only 1280 fps, so it probably wouldn't be hard on it anyway...
