Wife has a Walther P22 Pistol i have been trying to find ammo for. I am trying to find someone i can buy a entire case in Bulk from. I am looking for CCI Mini-Mag 22LR 40 Grain. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I live here in TN and we have three Wal-Marts here and there has not been any Ammo in three weeks now. All the gun shops here and pawn shops also have no Ammo. Thanks

Mrs Engineer's P22 is reliable and accurate with Federal AutoMatch Bulk Pack if this helps you find ammo. I haven't bought CCI Minimags since the price went north of $4.50 / 100 rounds.

Ammo is scarce, no doubt..I recently shot my P22 using Remington 550 rd bulk ammo..Shot about 200 rds or so, nary a issue..My favorite rd for the P22 is the CCI Stinger with CCI Mini mags a close second, but the bulk ammo did just fine..

Right now, beggars can't be choosers. You will be lucky to get any 22LR. Keep looking or order some on back order (if you can). Midway has Wolf 22LR in stock, and CCI expected avail dtd Feb 2013 (w/ no back orders).

You're late to the party, and the cover charge to get in has been steadily going up.

Well i am being a little choosier considering the little P22 pistol has had 5000 rounds in it and only had one round not feed. So i am trying to stick with CCI. I bought the P22 a few weeks ago for the wife her safety and carry permit class is 1/26/2013 and i wanted her to have something with less recoil. I could not pass the little gun up for the asking price i gave less then $300.00 for it and that was brand new. Seems to be a nice little shooter wife likes it anyways so that is a plus in my book. I was also able to pick up two more new mags for it for $10.00 a piece so that was a deal also. If wife is happy then everyone else is happy

So i give the Walther P22 9 out of 10

Well i was able to get the last 400 rounds my shop had here and now they have none. I was also told that they could not order me more. So i don't know what i will do. Seems like know one wants to sale a case.

Unfortunately the current environment has made finding ammo a hard thing to do. For the life of me I can't understand why all the stores are out of .22 LR ammo, even the large online stores.

You think its hard to find 22lr? Trying finding FMJ .45 or 9MM. I have been to EVERY story near me and only one or 2 boxes left at either one. All they had was personal defence for my .45. I couldnt' even find anything for my 9mm. I wanted to go shooting this past weekend. So much for that idea right? LOL. good luck fining ammo though.

Trade it for a 223 if you want to learn about hard to find ammo!

Searched 5 distributors today, no .22LR, .223 or 9mm. High end personal defense ammo is all I see. Let's hope all this craziness ends soon.

I went today and bought the last 400 rounds of CCI from my local shop. I had the feeling the guys behind me was going to jump me. Lets just say they were not happy lol

I stopped in my LGS yesterday and found plenty of .22 lr. I picked up a box of 400 Federal American Eagle for $19.95. Maybe I just got lucky and caught them on a good day.
