The all-time champ is "loose/lose".

Given the context that the author uses them in everyone here knows what they meant.

As in:
If the mainspring screw is lose, tighten it.
I hate to loose money when I sell a gun.
Are them what you meant?

My elementary school years were a time where the local school system was teaching “New English”. Think New Math. Some new method of teaching English. After six years, it was deemed a failure.
We had a new to the area English teach in 7th grade. She asked us to diagram a sentence on the first day of class, and was met with blank stares. Things went downhill after that. Both for her and the students.
So, I feel the OP pain.

I'm not so bad at spelling, but I am terrible at typing. I suffer from fat finger syndrome. That, and the auto correct function, accounts for most of my errors. The rest are due to either lack of coffee, or too much.

Having survived twelve years of Catholic schooling, I am a stickler for proper spelling and grammar...in my own writing. I wouldn't dream of correcting someone else's English on here!

But...don't you dare call a "magazine" a "clip"...

I'm glad someone pointed this out. I think it's a case of what's important to you.
FWIW: I'm always looking for extra clips for my revolvers.

Is this some kind of poem?

It's my version of Japanese Haiku. In my version, you can have as may syllables as you want and as many lines as you want, and it doesn't have to make any sense.
