I posted a thread about three Makarov pistols in this forum a few days ago. I own one other pistol in 9x18 Makarov caliber, a CZ-82 military surplus gun. This one pictured is somewhat unique in that it must have been one of the very last run in 1994 as indicated by the "she94" and cross-sword symbol on the right side of the frame. Since it was a late model after the break-up of Czechoslovakia, the import mark says "Czech Republic." This one has a much more modern finish than the typical baked on paint you usually see. It is a more durable poly coat covering. I've always liked the unique bore of this gun which at first glance looks like a smoothbore. It is very subdued polygonal rifling designed to give the bore long life and accomodate the special Czech high velocity 9x18 round. Thanks for looking.
