Another DOB question (M66-2)

We would need more detail about the gun to answer your value question accurately but Model 66s are increasing in value all the time as there are no new ones to buy and the number of really nice used ones available decreases continually. However, $549 isn't hateful for an Model 66 in good condition and in today's social climate, the shorter the barrel, the higher the value.

Hello,
That Model 66-2 was shipped in the spring of 1988. The price doesn't seem out of line to me as long as it's in excellent condition.

It is farely nice, with just a couple small dings, scratches, scrapes, whatever you want to call minor blemishes. Don't see these around my neck of the woods much. Not seeing many used Smith's at all. Always wanted a 66 or a 19 in 2.5 inch, so I scarfed it up before I hated myself. Guess I forgot to mention it was the snub. Sorry about that.

824tsv - Thanks for the date. And so fast!!!

I guess I'm curious over the Spring of 88 shipping. I've looked at several references that say the 66-3 started in 1986. This is a 66-2. Anyhow, added a couple pics for those who like.
