I have been collecting holsters with "dog ears" aka hammer
protectors, for quite some time. The picture below on the left
was my collection yesterday. But today I added one more.
It is a black basket weave by Tex Shoemaker, size 4, which
is a perfect fit for my S&W Model 67 Combat Masterpiece, as
shown in the photo 2nd from left. The gorgeous Ranger style
belt was a gift from my friend Red Nichols. The holster
appears to be new. I doubt a gun was ever in it. Maybe it
came from their recent closeout sale.

I had a smaller version of the same holster, but I gave it away
a few years ago here on a karma deal, because it was left
handed and I'm not. I have been looking for a good one
ever since. This is it.

Most, but not all, of this style holster, is your basic Tom
Threeperson's design with an added hammer protector.
I kinda like em.

You can click on the photo once or twice to enlarge
for a better view.

Wow! That is quite a collection. From reading your many outstanding and enjoyable posts on holsters, you must have lots of "holster drawers!"

No drawers. I have a wall, covered with peg board, in a walk
in closet where I keep them. Whenever the wall gets full I
have a sale. (And it's just about full.) And thank you for
enjoying my posts. It's enjoyable for me too.

Beautiful collection, Phil. I know you've probably shared it before, but what is the holster third from the left in the top row, the darker russet colored one?

You have an eye for quality. That is a Seventrees Combat
Speed Scabbard. I got it from our friend and leader turnerriver.
Here is a little better shot of it carrying my S&W Model 19
Combat Magnum.
