I got here cause I was introduced to this site by a member on TFL. I don't have a problem per se with other revolvers but all my shootable revolvers are S&Ws:
1 1/2 32 S&W centerfire w/o strain screw
1905 4th series nickel with 6 in barrel, original grips
K-22 from 1953
29-2 6 in nickel finish
686-3 6 in barrel
460 XVR WTU special edition New York state
I did have a 19-4 4 in nickel that I sold to my friend cause he wanted one. I guess I'm a good friend - $400. It was near perfect with original grips.
It would be my dream to acquire a pre war registered magnum in either a 5 or 7 in barrel. Really any RM would do. And I would love to find a S&W 32 auto, the old one that was similiar to the 35 auto.
Most of my family likes S&Ws and I stand someday to inherit some S&Ws: my dad has 5, his uncle has 2 and my uncle has 2. I'm glad to be here. As far as a revolver, I don't think a S&W can be topped and I'm glad that theres a lot of other people who share my philosophy who got together and made this forum. I buy older guns when I can and I seem to have the greatest interest in old S&Ws and winchesters.
I'm a RN in Pittsburgh PA by day and by night I'm a major gun/S&W enthusiast. Its my pleasure to be here.
