I started into a Schnucks Market in St. Louis, MO today. The sign on the door stated: No guns are allowed on the premises, by any one, regardless of permit., or words to that effect. Makes one wonder what armored car service handles their money and where the cops stash their sidearms while investigating a theft or robbery. Reminds me of the old adage: You can't Fix Stupid!!

What is odd about this situation is that several members of the Schnuck family consider themselves to be serious duck hunters. The two Schnuck brothers that I've met were both rather arrogant.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to learn that they have personal CCW permits.

Probably a case of "Do As I Say, Not As I Do!"

I was in the Schnucks Supermarket in Jefferson City, MO last week and it is NOT posted. It may just be their St. Louis area stores. Still, I would drop them a "No Guns=No Money" card.

You can get the cards here: http://www.learntocarry.com/nogunsnomoney/

Thanks for that reference on the cards. No problem here at present but one never knows.

Thanks,

You are welcome. I suspect a quick Photo Shop modification to the information on the back of the card could be made to where the card is relevant in any state.

BTW - The cards are not copyrighted, so you can do as you wish with them.

Wow! I'm in a Schnuck's every week. Guess I wasn't looking hard enough for the signs.

I do like the cards! I have several places to use them.

Thank you for that link. With the economy the way it is, maybe establishments will think twice about putting up a "no gun" sign if they know they are loosing money!
