I shoot Air Pistol here in the house. It is one of the best ways to improve your shooting. The guns are so good and so accurate that anything that goes wrong with the shot has to be your fault! I wish I lived near a place that had matches, but I think Dallas is as close as it comes from here. (Del Rio, TX)

I really like my Morini 162EI. The Steyr gets all the press though.

:) I used to shoot air pistol to help with my Bullseye shooting. Then a high school near by was putting on NRA air gun matches and they let me shoot with them. Boy were those kids good. They shot air rifle, running boar, and air pistol. I still have my air pistol a Feinwerkbau. Don

I have a thing for old air pistols in .22 caliber. If you think that looks like a DianaWerk 5G, you are correct - it was made by DianaWerk.

My most accurate air pistol is a RWS 6G with the contra-piston system. It's a very interesting piece of machinery. I haven't gone to anything better because it shoots better than I can. :)

Been shooting my Morini 162 E1 for several yrs, has at least 25,000 pellets thru it and its on 3rd set of betteries, still shoot like the day I brought it.

Steyr finally see the light and now bring out the LP 10E, a LP 10 with electronic trigger, friend of mine will be picking one up at next months World Cup match at Ft. Benning.

I shoot an IZH 46M. Single stroke .177. I used to shoot a Crossman Skannaker which was a CO2 gun, but I like the IZH much better. The accuracy is phenomenal. I shoot in my basement also, a criteria when we built our condo was my being able to get a 10 meter range where I can shoot. I participate in an International Air Gun postal league. There are participants form all over the world, and we email or send in our scores (not the targets), shooting a 200 point match e/o week for 8 match's, of which the worst two are dropped leaving you the best 6 match's with a possible of 1200 (typical Int. AP match). There are categories for Open, Women, Sr, Sr+, Sub Jr, Int. Jr, and Jr. The last league recently ended, and there were 28 Pistol competitors, and 33 Rifle competitors. There were 5 different countries represented. Of the 28 pistol competitors, there were 16 SR+ (over age 60), so there are a lot of old guy's out there still trying. If anyone is interested, you may email Donald V. Williams in Beaverton, OR at [email protected] who is the league organizer. I usually don't shoot in the summer, but do in the winter. Cost of the league is only $10.00.

I've been shooting local air pistol 10m leagues for about 10 years now. Great fun and good practice for conventional pistol control. As for guns, I've been through most. ( Not in order but: Daisy717/777, Tao7, IZH46 .46m, Beeman5G, 6g, 6m,P1, Webly Hurricane, Gamocompact, WaltherC2 match, FWB 10... Just kept trading up as I got better. Been shooting a Styer LP1 (with Rink Grip) for 6-7 years now and see no reason to ever change. ( Most $ I've ever spent on ANY gun but it was worth it!) I love the ease and safety of bulk Co2 and see no need to upgrade to CA. I can shoot for weeks-month on one fill and the fit balance of this gun. Trigger is to die for. I'm not ready for the Olympics (ageing eyes) but always manage to make the top 3-4 shooters in the league. FWIW, I also run a early FWB C2mini in Co2 that I've mounted a dot on for our on/off air pistol silhouette match's.

Sorry no pics at the moment but it's the silver, red and blue US Shooters Edition as held by the young lady in the link.

I've been shooting a Feinwerkbau 65 for almost 40 years and also a model 2 CO2. Both are equally accurate and a pleasure to shoot.

I have a Walther CP2 (gas) that I shot in league until I moved away from Seattle. I have a 10 Meter "range" in my garage but haven't shot recently. (The eyes are going. :()
I may have to look into putting a dot on it so I can at least practice. Would love to have one of the repeaters so I could proctice Timed and Rapid Fire but the pocketbook says NO!!
(I'm probably going to have to replace the seals in it as I haven't shot in 3 or 4 years.)
