Any Berreta owners here?

Hey everyone... not a S&W question, but hoping some here can help with this.
My brother needs to know how to id a 92fs slide to the frame? From some quick searching, it appears the 92FS frame is the only place stamped with the serial number and not on the slide. Are there any assembly numbers (thinking S&W here, sorry) or other indicators to confirm if a slide is the correct one for a particular frame?

As far as I know, the only 92-series that might have matching slide and frame numbers would be the military M9s, which have ASSY numbers stamped various places. Commercial 92s don't have any such thing.

It doesn't matter.
I was an armorer for a military unit in Alabama a couple years ago, you can switch and swap slides and the gun will work just fine.

The milspec part numbers are for that particular component. All slides will have the same number...they are interchangable, and not numbered to the frame.

i checked mine,,,no numbers on slide,,,just the frame
