Been listening to a lot of his stuff last couple of days on you tube. I would never have guessed he was from Ohio. Anyway just curious about others and if they liked or disliked him.

I don't know his stuff, but a number of fine bluegrass musicians aren't from my neck of the woods. Not all are even from this country.

Years ago my late wife and I attended a bluegrass festival here in Louisville and heard a good group of Japanese kids. They played really well, but Carol and I nearly choked laughing when they sang "Brue Moon Of Kentucky". :D

They may be the ones that appeared on "The Cumberland Highlanders" Show. It is a half hour bluegrass program every week on RFD-TV. It originates from near Jerusalem Ridge Ky. which is the birthplace of Bill Monroe. There is a festival there every year in Oct. and, the half hour segment shows for the next year are taken from that since it is all taped. Pretty decent show.

Never heard of him....................ahhhh Bluegrass..............no wonder. I do like the Alison Krause/Robert Plant album though!
