I lost interest in the NBA when Oklahoma City lost Kevin Durant and was a bottom dweller for several years but they have done an excellent job rebuilding and trading and have a pretty darn good young team this year. The team is very unselfish and there's not much showing off, talking smack, or crying about the refs, the guys seem to just enjoy playing ball with each other and act like they're one big family. We will see if their youth and inexperience can take them all the way.

I don't watch much in the regular season, but usually watch the playoffs.

I’ll watch when the Celtics play, but they got booted early from the playoffs. In my opinion (for whatever that’s worth), they need a better coach.

And overall there’s too much 3 point long-ball/hero ball, flopping, and they travel all the time now with the so-called ‘gather step.’ I’d rather watch a high school game…

I'm a Trailblazers fan. Even used to work for them, many moons ago. I hear they are finally selling the team. About time. Ever since Paul Allen passed, it has been owned by his estate, run by his sister. Maybe now we can get an owner who is passionate about basketball and wants to win rather than just sell tickets.

I am so sick of hearing about the NBA playoffs for the last two months and they are still not over!!!!!!!!! I am surprised that anyone is still keeping track of the playoffs.
I enjoy NBA basketball, especially the playoffs. I very rarely have the chance to watch a full game, but I read press reports of the games, and enjoy highlights on YouTube. I like the athleticism and skill displayed, and I also like the human interest stories, the player backstories.

The NBA gets good viewership ratings.
A lot of people like basketball. I prefer the college game but it's still entertaining

Never have watched it and never will . Having said that , my daughter is in charge of social media for the Orlando Magic . She gets 2 free seats for every home game , the more she uses them the better seats she'll get next year . Even with free seats , it just doesn't interest me . I don't even watch pro football , but I do watch UCF play once in a while .

Sports, guns, hunting for me. Beer is certainly welcome as well. Seems like on a lot of forums there is a sentiment that you either like sports or like guns/shooting/hunting.
I happen to like both. Nothing better than to go hunting/shooting with my dad then crack a beer and watch football/basketball/hockey.
My son-in-law is the CEO of a large medical group in Oklahoma City. One of the group's doctors is the team physician for the Thunder. So when SIL wants to attend a Thunder home game, he can usually get a seat right behind the bench. He was there the night they eliminated Denver from the playoffs, and he said the atmosphere was exciting beyond description. OKC doesn't seem to have any "big stars", so their success seems to come from playing hard as a team. If they win the NBA championship this year, I'm guessing that they will end up with some "big stars" after all.
Wail, SGA, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who just won NBA MVP for the season, is considered a big star by some...

And please explain how the “euro-step” is not traveling! When I played basketball growing up, if I had tried that, it definitely would have been called traveling! Did rules change?

I am glad OKC is doing well. For the last two years I have actually watched more WNBA games than NBA where there is more passing, more team than individuals. Todays NBA is more about individuals, than team play. I guess I was spoiled when San Antonio won their championships playing team ball and defense before their coach went political

I live in Louisiana. Our NBA team is the Pelicans. They are still choking over their savior Xion Williams drafted #1 several years ago. So the answer to your question is .....wait for it......NO. I would not even be aware of the playoffs were it not for the fact that I play poker with a bunch of sports betting degenerates
Cleveland Cavaliers fan here right from the beginning. Cleveland went crazy when the Cavaliers took the NBA Championship in 2016.
