I am looking for a relatively inexpensive site for my M&P 15 Sport. I am not really up to speed on all the options so any recommendations are helpful. Thanks in advance.

Do you mean TruGlo? I had one of their reflex red dots and used it on a 15-22. It performed decently there. But I later mounted in on a Ruger MarkII pitol and after a couple or mags the lens fell off.
At that time I had owned it about 1.5 years, but had used it to fire less than 500 22LR rounds.
You'd be better off ordering a red dot from Primaryarms.com. The company is well respected as are the house branded optics.

+1 on primary arms. They have free shipping on the Vortex line of red dots right now. I picked up my Strikefire from them last year.
