I'll be there Friday and Saturday. Walking Friday and on the scooter Saturday. I'll be wearing an orange T-shirt and an orange Barq's Root Beer cap. If you see me say hello. I'll know what I'm looking for after I get there. I'm always open to suggestions or temptations. We'll have a table on the upper deck kind of close to the elevator. Not exactly sure yet. As always, it will be fun and at 74 I'm not sure how many of these I have left.

Well, have a good time for me! I have never been to the fall show, it is on my list. The pheasant opener in Kansas is this weekend so I tromp through the weeds and over the hills of western KS to get some exercise. I am "only" 68, soon to be 69 and I don't know how many more hunting trips I have in me as well so I know the feeling! Have fun, expect a report.

The Tulsa show is my favorite and I usually go spring and fall every year. For the last few years I have looked for the elusive Charlie Sherrill. I think I may have seen him heading down the ramp to the lower level last year on his scooter. I can't run anymore so I couldn't catch him. I'll be looking this weekend.:)

Plans were to go Friday through Sunday as usual but ended up with a really bad sinus infection and feeling really bad.
I guess I will start looking forward to the Spring show.

I went on Friday and Saturday, skipped Sunday. I was able to get through the entire show Saturday in record time, because it seemed to me that it was way less crowded than usual. I was able to walk at a normal pace, rather than having to wedge myself between people filling up the aisles. The noise volume was much less as well.

Did it seem to anyone else that attendance was down considerably?

I just got home. Bed soon. I enjoyed the show. I ran into lots of friends and fellow Forum members. I got to talk to Jim Supica a bit about an old top break we have. I saw and talked with my friend David Carrol and even bought a holster from him for a 2 1/2" 66-0 that my deceased friend Leland left me. Now it is double special. I bought another holster for a J frame and picked up a few freebies from the Veterans folks and others. Gun prices were out of sight for me, but it's hard to buy something anywhere when you already have most of what you want. Jr. did well unloading a few things. Our friend who went with us also did well buying and selling. I usually don't do the Spring show and hope I'm up for next November.

I'm in Tulsa. I was out of town and didn't get to go. But a lot of the locals (Oklahoma Shooter's Association) said the prices were silly high and a lot of the dealers packed up and left around lunchtime on Sunday.

Sounds like a typical Wanamacher show.

Made my first trip to Tulsa and had the pleasure of meeting Charlie Sherrill due to his orange shirt and cap.
Also found a needle in the haystack, 5 inch model 41 field barrel that had eluded me for several years.
Great experience and maybe make a spring trip.
