Anyone have Good recomends for green or red lasers?

I'm debating of getting a laser for my sigma. Reports I've read seem rather negative. Such as poor quality. not holding adjustments, etc. Anyone have good experiences with any of the laser types or companies.

I bought a inexpensive laser for my .40 and surprisingly it's still holding adjustment after 700 rounds. It consists of a Laserlyte rail adapter and a NoSTAR laser (made for New Century Sci. & Tech.,Inc. U.S.A.).

Laser: $30

Well, mine cost a little more, not much. It's made by another forum member TDR911. A whole lot less than a CT for sure. It's a red laser and holds up fine on my .40VE.

No adapters needed.

I have an FM laser/LED flashlight combo. $90 from Sportsmans Guide. Kinda bulky to carry with it much, but for home defense or shooting around the range it's great. But anyway the quality of the item is very good, holding laser adjustment great. I also used the LaserLyte adapter.

That photo from PDL looks cleaner than mine. The rail adapter makes gun wider and also moves laser further from barrel.

I've heard the green ones are visible in outdoor daylight while the red one's aren't. I'd like the green one for that reason.

Green is more visible in daylight than red, yes. That's generally why they are more expensive. That being said, from a pistol range around 10-15 yards you can usually see the red laser just fine unless it is really sunny. Pulse mode can help make red more visible.

Here in Pittsburgh we have about 60 days of sun a year, so red works! LOL...

As stated there are a lot of choices out there. Ranging from $15.00 and up. Most of the quality lasers are $70.00 and up from from there. Green is visable in bright daylight but most attacks happen in low light. Green lasers are larger and use the battery's up quicker.
Dry fire parctice and using the laser will help you identify trgger pulling issues and improve your shooting ability as well.
