I recently picked up a set of attractive cocobolo grips for two .44 rem mag revolvers. Extremely comfortable, too.....better than the original factory grips.

Have a new X-Frame .460 inbound and was wondering if anyone was happy with other grips on them vs the factory soft grips (which I'm sure I will appreciate during recoil :) ).

Thanks.....

Personally I can't imagine mine with wooden grips.

Some people do say they like them though.

Might better see how you like the 460 Mag with the Tamer grips before you buy some wooden ones.

Of course if you already have a round butt K/L-frame with wooden grips that you like it'd be an easy swap to see if you like the idea.

I've had Herretts on my .500 for 15 years. They were made to fit my hand, and they do. They fit very TIGHT. I haven't had any problems with them.
