WSP (for World's Smallest Pistol) "Downsizer"

I have seen items about these pop up here and there over the years but have never seen one for sale or even seen one in person. They apparently did not make many before shutting down.
Probably a beasty to shoot, but I'm a fan of the weird ones.

No I can't say that I have.
Live and learn as they say.
Thank you for sharing.

But I've seen an FP-45 "liberator". In fact it's still for sale at the LGS.:D

Never seen one in person, but I have heard of them.

Personally, I cannot help but feel like these styles of guns are terribly impractical compared to something like a North American Arms Mini Revolver, Beretta Tomcat, Kel-Tec P32, or Ruger LCP. All of which are extremely small, thin, easy to conceal, and yet are capable of firing 5+ rounds in rapid succession.

As much as I like big bore cartridges like .45 ACP, I'll take seven shots of .380 ACP over a single shot .45 anyday. If I want a small .45, then the smallest I'd be willing to go is something like a 1911 Officer or an M&P45 Shield.

I just checked and a Davis Derringer in 32ACP or 22 Mag. is the height of a playing card width and only 5/16" longer. And that is 2 shots! I have larger standard playing cards, I used the smaller size to prove the point.

There were some assassination devises called Palm Pistols/Squeeze Pistols. I believe the centerfire version is smaller and the rimfire is definitely smaller than a small playing card! (The RF is close to a business card!)

But in 45 ACP this is probably the smallest, but I think 44 Russian would be more usable since it has a rim, and is plenty powerful! For that matter a 38 Super is semi rimmed and very powerful, especially the +P version!

Update:

So...I don't think I'M gonna get one of these little gems anytime soon.
I just saw a .357 one on an auction platform sold* north of 5 grand.
Yep, five and three zeros!

I could be into maybe three of my list of S&W wanna haves for that.

Oh well.
