Anyone here have a 2009+ Maxima?

How do you like it? Looking to trade in my car for a 2010 near me with only 21K miles. Barley driven and in great shape. I will miss my AWD and built in Nav..but that's it.

Google Nissan cvt transmission problems.

We had an 09 Altima.

The transmission lunched itself at about 36,000 miles. We were never clear what caused it. It was covered under warranty, thank goodness.

We sold it a short time later.

I am aware. The year i am looking at has no complaints on the transmission. I read every review on cars.com. Edmunds ect. Getting 4.8+/5 reviews on almost every review that i have seen. I knew someone with one who loved it. Why i started looking

I have seen maybe 3 trans issues out of the hundreds of reviews i have read.

the 2009-2010 Nissan rouge had horrible problems with their trans...but maxima of the same year seem like a night and day difference

Yup. Some good years and bad. Reason why i am looking at 10s and not 09s. Little less problems
