I don't carry it every day, but I pack it alot. It shoots well with most ammo, but I prefer 38 spl. 135 gr Gold Dots. I love the 8 shots.

nice snubbie there I didn't know they made 'em like that in this model....

groups pretty good at 21' does it???
Will it shoot both with moon clips and without?

I'm stuck between the old 6 holer 357 (got a few close outs available for under $700)....but really LIKE the 8 shots....

...and the TRR8 is calling too....

Yes, it uses moon clips. I normally load the first 8 without moon clips and carry a couple of speed strips (wish they made them in 7 and 8 shots) and a moon clip full. Moon clips are great but with 38 or 357 they are not like 45's because of the case length, so there is a lot of wobble. Under stress this could be a problem.

You can not go wrong with an older 6 shot 357 and you won't have the IL to worry about or like me have to have it disabled.

How easily do the moon clips go in? Easily, or do you finesse them into the cylinder? How quickly?

Lots of wiggle room with the longer cases, alot of practice helps, but it will never be like a 45acp with moon clips. Faster than speed strips or loose ammo.
