Back in the early 2000's I Loved my Web-TV. I had a computer that had a now considered tiny 13" black and white fat and wide monitor. So when I got my first Web-TV it was so cool!

I couldn't wait till everyone went to bed and take over the TV, so I could surf the Ole Inter Web on my then now considered tiny color 32" fat and thick TV. I could lay on the couch put a thin pillow on my chest to rest the keyboard on and surf away.

That was so cool. And that's how I found this forum (and others) and bought a ton of stuff off eCrud and wore the Post Office out, buying Momey Orders, long before PayPoo.

I kept it about 3-4 years and they came out with Web-TV II. That had a printer port. BUT, I never could get the II version to act right. Took it back twice and called the 1-800 number several times. But never got one to act right. And finally gave up and went got my money back from Circuit City. I Was Sad.

But in about 2006 I bought a desk top Gateway Computer package with a then (i thought?) high tech COLOR 19" ultra thin flat screen monitor and matching printer. I thought I was hot stuff. I could even print photos! Whoop-eee, but soon learned how costly the ink and the photo quality paper was. Bummer!

Then the Lap Top and tablet revolution soon come about. And everything changed, with WiFi.

I still miss my Web-TV. And when I got the Web-TV II, I gave the number I to a neighbor for his kids. And they kept it 3-4 more years. But I didn't have the heart to ask for it back. And hunted for a New number I. But they had long since been discountinued.

Ah, those were the days my friend....

My wife bought one after they came out and we loved it. Sure it was kinda slow and dial up made the pictures load painfully slow but by golly we had internet. Whoo-hooo. We used it until it finally went away and got a 256 computer with a meg of RAM.

Yep, used it, loved it and miss it.
